The Go Succeed Start team hosts this in-person workshop, Building Smart Relationships and Analysing Business Performance: Securing More Business and Future Success, delivered in partnership with Kerry Spence.

The way you manage your business relationships with suppliers, buyers, or key customers, can make all the difference to your success, particularly when you face challenges. The way you measure your performance will influence your future decisions and the ultimate success of your business.

In this interactive session, we will provide you with practical advice and clever but simple ways to not only build, enhance, and sustain valuable relationships but also to transform them into collaborative partnerships. Learn how to seamlessly integrate suppliers, buyers, and customers into your extended team, expanding your business's capabilities.

We will cover common mistakes and how to avoid them, and how to deal with difficult personalities, situations, and conflict. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of supplier and customer perspectives, essential tools for nurturing high-performance relationships, and strategies for analysing business performance to inform your future planning.

The second element of the workshop will look at ways to measure and analyse your performance to give you a head start on your future planning. We will provide you with simple, quick and easy methods and tools of measurement which you easily apply to your business going forward without spending additional time and energy.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area and neighbouring Council areas and facilitated by Enterprise NI.

Our chosen venue is fully accessible, ensuring that everyone can join us for an inclusive workshop experience, with parking available onsite.

Kerry Spence is a highly experienced business advisor, mentor, and people management expert, with over 30 years working across diverse sectors including professional services, retail, legal, property, and luxury brand building. She has held pivotal roles from entrepreneur to senior executive, demonstrating proficiency as a business owner, director, general manager, and managing director. With a comprehensive grasp of commercial operations, Kerry excels in navigating the complex nature of global supply chains and team management, offering invaluable insights into the challenges inherent in business ownership and leadership roles. At the heart of Kerry's work is her deep knowledge of managing people well and building strong relationships.
