Join us for an engaging lunchtime event that will introduce participants to various
career opportunities in the creative industries, including radio presenting,
DJ-ing, music, storytelling, content creating and arts & crafts.
Through industry-led talks and hands-on activities,
participants will gain a better understanding of the creative field, and the
skills needed to pursue a career in this vibrant sector.
A light lunch with tea and coffee will be available on arrival.
About our workshop facilitators:
Emma Dodds – Founding Director of NI Creativity
Centre, Emma holds a wealth of knowledge and expertise in multiple areas of
business with an emphasis on the Creative sector. With over 10 years experience
working within Creative Training and Recruitment along with her passion to
encourage self expression she has a natural flare to work with individuals and
groups from all backgrounds.
Through her previous roles she has gained extensive
experience working with some of Northern Irelands ‘Top Creative Professionals’,
where she has enhanced local opportunities and created hundreds of company
entry paths for a number of individuals wishing to expand their skills in this
thriving sector.
Carly Wright - Carly Wright is a mixed
media artist from Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Her artistic talents were
identified and supported early in her childhood where she learned how to
mastered her unique style.
Carly’s work has an abstract feel that’s tied beautifully
with realism. Her art is often eclectic in nature and typically radiates
colour, expression, and emotion. In a relatively short period of time, she has
quickly gained a reputation as a talented artist who paints from her heart.
Following the launch of her ‘Diamond in the rough’
exhibition which was supported by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council her artic
flare reached new heights. She has since set up her own art studio and has
embarked on a new journey sharing her knowledge and wisdom with our younger
generation.
Amanda St John - Amanda is one of Northern
Irelands leading singer-songwriters. She has released 2 studio albums to
critical acclaim, had worldwide press/radio play & has toured USA, UK &
Ireland (which included a performance for the President of USA).
With qualifications in Education & Training as well as Life Coaching she has also coached & led creative workshops for over 15 years. Her passion for mentoring & bringing out the best in others is evident in everything she does.

Larne Town Hall is fully accessible, ensuring that
everyone can join us for an inclusive experience, with parking available on
street and nearby car parks (parking charges may apply).

Please note as this is an in-person event, the
registration numbers for this are restricted. Whilst Go Succeed operates across
NI, this event is being hosted by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council,
therefore should the event reach capacity and a waiting list is created,
priority access will be given to Businesses based in the Mid and East Antrim
Borough Council area.
