This Business Growth Thematic Series consists of 3 workshops taking place from 10:00am - 12:30pm on 15th, 22nd & 29th January 2025 in Omagh Enterprise. This series is specifically aimed at small business owners who are at the growth stage of their business. Participants will achieve a better understand of business strategy, marketing and financial planning - all key components for successful business growth.

The 3 workshops in this series are as follows:

Workshop 1 (15th January, 10:00am - 12:30pm) - Business Planning to Grow Your Business with David Bradshaw

The first session aims to show you how business planning can assist you in establishing the parameters for businesses growth.  The session will encourage you to think about business planning as an ongoing practical activity to guide your business growth.

Through this session you will learn:

·       The importance of understanding your business landscape

·       How to set clear goals and strategies

·       Set SMART goals for your business

·       How to ensure operational efficiency

The workshop will be delivered by David Bradshaw who is a self-employed business consultant with 30 years’ experience in the private sector including 22 years of delivering funding solutions to businesses across multiple sectors. David is a retained associate consultant with the Strategic Investment Board for Northern Ireland [SIB].

Workshop 2 (22nd January, 10:00am - 12:30pm) - Social Media Marketing for Your Business with Louise Donnelly

This workshop will introduce you to the main social media platforms helping you to find the right fit for your business and learn tactics to grow and engage your target audience. 

 The session will cover

·      Influencing the Consumer Journey using social media

·      Growing and engaging an audience using social media

·      An introduction to social media advertising campaigns

·      Analysing and reporting using social media tools

The workshop will be delivered by Louise Donnelly who is a certified digital marketing specialist with over 15 years of experience working with businesses of all sizes throughout Ireland. Her expertise spans diverse industries, helping brands build their online presence and achieve measurable success.

Workshop 3 (29th January, 10:00am - 12:30pm) - Financial Planning Essentials with David Bradshaw

This workshop will provide an introduction to financial planning and the importance of understanding your financial performance.  This interactive workshop will provide a step-by -tep guide to understanding the figures.

Participants will develop an understanding of: 

·      Cashflow management 

·      Profit and Loss accounts

·      Balance Sheets

·      Financial control

·      Cost reduction techniques

·      How to forecast future financial performance

·      How to implement cost-saving measures.

Please note as these are in-person events, the registration numbers for this are restricted. Whilst Go Succeed operates across NI, this event is being hosted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, therefore should the event reach capacity and a waiting list is created, priority access will be given to Businesses based in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.
