This workshop aims to provide participants with the requisite knowledge on how to utilise exporting as a means of growing their businesses as well as guidance on the first steps to take in order to boost the chances of sustainable export success.
The session will cover:
- Readiness to do business outside NI – what you need to do to increase readiness levels / overcome barriers;
- To highlight the importance of market screening & selection;
- To explore the value of robust market research linked to strategic export planning;
- To zone-in on how to identify customers / partners in markets outside of NI;
- To consider methods used to then target potential customers in export markets; and
- Sources of support for exporting activities
Participants will emerge from the workshop equipped with a better understanding of export best practice, the success factors and the confidence to advance to the next stage.
