ABOUT THIS EVENT

This workshop is part of our SHARE series: EastSide Arts' skills and networking programme for professional artists.

SHARE aims to bring professional artists together to hear about wider creative industry tips and tricks, ask questions and create community. It's a space to learn, find connection and be supported with your career.

For this session we will be joined by Management Consultant and Artist Cora Duncan.

What will be covered?

Turn your art into a successful commercial art practice. This facilitated workshop will help you succeed in the ever-changing and somewhat daunting art world by teaching you how to -

  1. Create a clear and efficient business model and value proposition to fuel growth
  2. Talk about your art and yourself in person and online to garner attention and generate sales
  3. Create multiple revenue streams and business leads for your art and your services
  4. Cultivate long term business relationships by establishing trust and credibility
  5. Harness the power of social media to make your working life more efficient and more profitable

In this workshop you'll learn how to craft compelling stories that resonate with your audience and effectively communicate the value of your work. Through hands-on exercises, group discussions, and practical pitch practice, you'll discover the key elements of a captivating story and refine your delivery techniques. Whether you're selling your art, seeking collaborations, or expanding your brand, this workshop will equip you with the tools to tell your story and make a lasting impact.

Following the session there will be a Q&A session where you can ask questions and share thoughts and we'll finish with a relaxed, open networking space complete with a complimentary drink from Boundary Brewing!
