Since opening way back in 1993, Thompsons Garage has become a bona fide Belfast Clubbing Institution!
From humble beginnings as a gastro bar that cleared away its tables to cater for a series of underground events, Thompsons Garage quickly began to evolve into an exclusive club, populated with a mix of Belfast’s fashion crowd, gay clubbers and dance music lovers! The club’s notoriously strict door policy lightened up as the 90’s progressed and it extended into a two storey venue, complete with a booming sound system and cutting edge lighting.
Over the decades the club extended further with a third floor and an outdoor Terrace area playing host to literally thousands of djs from all over the world, in addition to showcasing the nation’s hottest homegrown talent, seven nights a week!
For Thompsons’ 30th Birthday we welcome global dj, producer and host of Radio 1’s Dance Anthems, Danny Howard! Danny will be sharing the stage with Saturday night residents, ‘Hijaxx’ whilst Nu Jamz & Cisco take care of the Terrace!
