Tullycarnet Library opened fifty years ago in 1974. To commemorate this half century, as part of the Library’s Birthday Bash, local anorak Peter McCabe will deliver an illustrated talk outlining the lives of fifty notable people from East Belfast & Dundonald.

Devoting one minute to each person, this quick-fire talk will highlight those from the area who made contributions to life in the East Belfast of yesteryear. As well as mentioning the Holy Trinity of East Belfast - Van Morrison, George Best and C.S. Lewis - the talk will also feature ordinary people from this part of the world who did extraordinary things.
